You feel like quitting, don’t you? Do you feel like giving up and throwing in the towel? It seems like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, and you just can’t bare the pressure anymore. Yea I know what you’re going through!
These feelings can cause:
“Self-doubt” (the lack of one's confidence in one's self and one's abilities)
You can’t let a temporary situation throw you off track and stop you from focusing on what’s important “your goals and dreams!”
We all have this strange theory that once we’ve set a plan in place to accomplish something, it’s going to happen without any roadblocks or setbacks. If this is your thought process, you’ve got it all wrong. Most small businesses closed down and file for bankruptcy within the first six months. That’s not everyone’s case or situation, because those who prepared for the roadblocks, the “No’s,” the financial sacrifices knew that those times would come!
When you start a new job, you either have a 60 or 90-day probational period. This is the trail and error period. This is when you’re figuring out if you’re the right fit or if you’re going to excel in this new environment. When you’re starting something new, you’re not supposed to feel comfortable, and it’s ok for things not to flow smoothly. You have to remember you’ve never been here before take your time to figure things out and get adjusted. Just because things are not going how you planned when you wrote out your goals, plans, or ideas doesn’t mean give up and run!
It’s stressful when you’re looking at your bank account decrease and your anxiety level increase. Feels like you’re two steps forward and ten backward, but guess what if it was easy everyone would be doing it! Success is not set up for the weak and weary! Success is for those who can weather the storm and say, “now that it’s over it’s time to take off the shutters and rebuild!” Stop letting fear guide your moves and start letting hunger take the wheel. I once heard someone say, “when you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, that’s when you know you’re ready!”
“Anything that comes easy doesn’t last long!” When you feel that evil spirit of defeat and self- doubt remember that! What's for you is for you, and by all means, you better go and get it! Stop waiting for things to fall in your lap. How often do you find a $100 bill laying on the ground? You’ll get it a lot faster if you go out and work for it.
Chasing your goals and dreams is a roller coaster ride, but don’t forget the main reason you got on the ride in the first place. This ride was built for excitement and thrills! You’ve invested your time and money stop holding your head down when things are low! Try opening eyes and enjoying this ride called life. Eventually, the ride will come to an end and what will you leave behind?! That’s what you’re doing this for your legacy and your family.
Trust the process and understand that tough times don’t last tough people do. When they mention your name it reads “ That’s the hardest working, strongest, loving, caring, giving, and dedicated person I ever met!”
